John, Pennsylvania’s minimum wage is one of the lowest in the nation, at just $7.25 an hour. That’s not a livable wage — and it sure isn’t enough to support a family. That’s why Josh Shapiro is leading the fight to raise Pennsylvania’s minimum wage. We need to increase the minimum wage in Pennsylvania to $15 an hour — if you agree, will you sign your name and join our call to raise the minimum wage?
Josh Shapiro believes every Pennsylvanian worker deserves a living wage. But right now, our minimum wage is lower than that of thirty other states including that of our neighbors — Democrats and Republicans. And that doesn’t just hurt PA workers — it harms our entire commonwealth by forcing many Pennsylvanians to work out of state in order to take home a decent wage and support their families. It’s never been more clear: $7.25 just isn’t enough for hard-working Pennsylvanians.
