But in case today being Tuesday hasn’t convinced you to chip in, maybe what I’m about to say will help.

Campaigns like ours are one of the few things standing between MAGA Republicans and complete control of Congress.

If MAGA Republicans maintain or gain any seats next year, they will have more power to impose their extreme, out-of-touch agenda. We know that includes passing a federal abortion ban, obstructing and undoing common sense assault weapons safety measures, and denying the legitimacy of the climate crisis, intensifying the life-threatening consequences of climate change.

And John, they know exactly how important this seat is. That’s why they’re stacking opponents, misleading voters, and raising hundreds of millions of dollars to expand their majority.

That means we cannot skip a beat. We must continue building our resources so that we can speak with voters across IL-14 and make sure they know the dangers MAGA Republicans pose to our democracy. Not just that, resources are critical to defending the record we worked so hard to build.
