Over the last month, thousands of WFP members like you have joined the movement for a ceasefire in Gaza, calling your congressional offices, emailing your representatives, and joining phone banks to encourage others to do the same. And Congress has been forced to take notice.
Dozens of members of Congress have now joined the call for a ceasefire, and the pressure is growing every day. But we can’t let up the pressure now. The four-hour “tactical local pauses” agreed to by the Israeli government is not enough — not while the people of Gaza remain under siege the other 20 hours of each day.
So Wednesday, November 22 at 3 PM ET/12 PM PT, we’re holding another Ceasefire Now Phone Bank to help people around the country demand that their representatives support a ceasefire and humanitarian assistance for Gaza. Can you join us?

As we head into the 2024 elections, we know members of Congress are hearing us.
A congressional staffer told HuffPost: “It’s cold comfort, but even if members are not speaking up for a cease-fire, the calls and the letters are making a difference… they’re changing the calculations of how far some members are willing to go to support Israel.”1
If we keep up the fight, we have a real chance to get the U.S. government to press for a ceasefire in Gaza, prevent the escalation of this conflict into a regional war, and save the lives of thousands of Palestinians and Israelis alike. But we need your help.
