About the job
The Communications Division is hiring a Communications Consultant 5 to provide expertise in public information activities to all DES divisions, including media relations, crisis and issue communications, strategic communications planning, and writing and editing for a variety of channels. You will be responsible for shaping public perception, reducing reputational risk, strengthening brand reputation, and building relationships with stakeholder groups and the media. This is a full-time telework position with occasional required in-person meetings and events in the Olympia area.
