We saw this all over the country earlier this month – from reproductive rights wins in Ohio and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court race to dozens of anti-gay, anti-free speech school board candidates losing their races across states like Iowa.

Arizona is a crucially important swing state in the presidential election, and it's where we're recruiting local leaders like Stacey Travers to run for office. After being recruited to run by Contest Every Race in 2020, Rep. Travers won a seat in the Arizona House and is running for re-election next year!

Not only do we identify and recruit candidates, we're building a bench of leaders who are getting re-elected, moving up, and inspiring others to do the same. When we say we're on the ground year-round, we mean it.
