Undoing Roe v. Wade was horrific, and with Mike Johnson and our likely Republican opponent Joe McGraw leading us, it can get much, much worse.

Even after Roe, Johnson – the most anti-reproductive rights Speaker in history – and his extreme colleagues are still working to impose restrictions on reproductive access – including through a national abortion ban.

In fact, Johnson has called abortion “genocide”, and compared it to the Holocaust.

Meanwhile the national Republicans’ hand-picked candidate for our race, Joe McGraw, has made his views quite clear that he’ll be a pass-through for Johnson’s agenda: 

• Joe McGraw has vocalized support for states having the ability to ban abortion.
  
  
• Joe McGraw has even attended anti-choice events in his spare time, joining so-called pro-life activists in a "hike for life."
  
  
• But knowing how overwhelmingly popular leaving people’s choices to themselves are, Joe McGraw is attempting to hide his support for states banning abortion with framing that doesn’t match his record.

National Republicans have promised to spend enormous sums boosting their preferred candidate and on attacks against Eric. We can’t let them buy an end to reproductive rights in the midwest.
