Every year I look forward to seeing all the brilliant entries for the annual Christmas card competition that I run with Rachael Hamilton MSP.

I am always impressed by the hard work that pupils put in to creating these wonderful designs.

Dozens of young people across the Scottish Borders submitted a card this year and once again, I’ve been blown away by how well they’ve done. Every student should be really proud of their submission. 

The competition is now open to public voting. We received so many excellent designs that we’re asking for your help to pick the winning entry.

Whichever design receives the most votes from you will appear on our Christmas card, which will be sent to the King, the Prime Minister and many people across the Scottish Borders.
