12 fellows graduated from the MediaJustice Network Fellowship. Here's what we learned from our time together.

Over the last two years, we have been building a political community of media activists and organizers through the MediaJustice Network Fellowship (MJNF) ([link removed](112123_MJNFGraduationBlogPost)) .

This fall, we gathered with our MJNF community - our 2023 class ([link removed](112123_MJNFGraduationBlogPost)(EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_11_17_2023_10_4)) , 2022 alumni, mentors, and staff - to celebrate this year’s fellows, who spent eight months researching, discussing, and developing projects to tackle racialized disinformation in their communities.

Notably, this was the first time we had an international presence: three fellows, nominated by Highlander Research and Education Center, were involved in the Campaign Against Racism ([link removed](112123_MJNFGraduationBlogPost)) through global movement leader, EqualHealth ([link removed](112123_MJNFGraduationBlogPost)) . The analysis from the global south from fellows Peruth Nabirye, Nyasha Grace, and Anne Marie Collins, was a radicalizing presence, as issues of U.S. exceptionalism, imperialism, and colonization were present from day one while discussing oppression and political economy in relation to the global media and technology landscape.
