This year your donations secured flipping the Virginia House blue when we elected Alfonso Lopez, Fernando “Marty” Martinez, and Phil Hernandez. We ensured the re-elections of Mayor Regina Romero in Tucson, Lancaster City Council Jaime Arroyo, and New York City council members Pierina Sanchez and Jennifer Gutierrez. Chris Falcon broke barriers in being elected the first Latino County Clerk of Courts in Virginia’s history.
As 2024 inches closer, we are strategizing which elections to engage in, determining the number of candidates we can endorse, and contemplating new initiatives for the upcoming year, all contingent on the funds we can raise in the next couple of weeks.
We're not assuming anything in 2024. It's crucial to dedicate effort every day of the year to enhance the influence of the Latino community. We aim to maintain the same level of engagement and influence among Latino voters as witnessed in the 2022 midterm and this year's elections.
