Dear John, 

As you may know, this year our IGNITE family grew a little bigger with the welcoming of my daughter LJ. In her first 8 months of life, LJ has accomplished so much. She just started crawling and she recently took her first cross-country flight to join me on a work trip. 

It’s in these beautiful firsts that I am reminded of how much more there is for me to teach my daughter, including what it means to declare her ambition! I’ve incorporated whispering affirmations about her ability to lead into our bedtime routine ;). 

It’s never too early to talk to the kiddos in your life about political ambition and civic engagement. So, as a token of IGNITE’s appreciation, we are sharing our Building Ambition toolkit. There are conversation starters for kids as young as five. Play with this resource around the dining table this holiday season.
