You are invited to join us on December 8th to remember those who have lost their lives to gun violence this year.
In May of this year, we were joined by advocates like you who helped us pass two bipartisan gun safety bills out of the House. 1 But those bills have sat with no action–just last week, Sen. Lisa Baker was quoted saying she has "no plans to advance the bills". 2
Every day the Senate waits to pass these critical measures means more lives lost in Philadelphia. That’s why we are gathering both to remember those we have lost and to send a message to our legislators: Pennsylvanians cannot wait one day more for the Senate to enact life-saving gun safety measures like universal background checks and Extreme Risk Protection Orders.
These bills have been waiting for almost 200 days, with a daily cost of the lives of innocent Pennsylvanians. Join us to say: Not One Day More!
