John,
We'll get straight to the point: Facebook and Instagram just announced they’re going to allow anyone to run ads that question the outcome of the 2020 election.
Today’s anti-democratic rhetoric coming from the Republican Party is bad enough, but now we can expect a new wave of conspiracy theories to flood these social media platforms – continuing to spread lies about the 2020 election and sow distrust in our democracy
With the election just a year away, our democracy can’t afford to have voters swayed by lies that undermine the integrity of our electoral process.
That’s why we launched an urgent petition calling on Meta to STOP election misinformation in political ads, but we’re still missing your signature. Will you sign your name now?
Thanks for signing,
Team DASS

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram just announced it will allow ads that question the outcome of the 2020 election to run.
Every crocked-up QAnon conspiracy and Trump-amplified lie that ultimately led to the Jan. 6 insurrection now has the green light to be run as an ad. This is happening on the biggest social media platform in the country - that 75%+ of Americans use!
Make no mistake: instead of defending democracy, Meta is choosing to profit off of election denialism.
We’re launching an urgent petition and calling on Meta to STOP election misinformation in political ads, but we need your signature. Will you join 9,999 other Democrats and sign your name now?
Thanks for signing,
