URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell the Department of Interior to CANCEL the sale of 6,972 acres of Texas public lands to fossil fuel companies! >> Act now!

Greedy companies are razing our public lands for profit. Fracking wastewater contaminates community drinking water. Beautiful landscapes and critical wildlife habitats are destroyed to make way for giant metal machines blasting water and chemicals into the ground and cracking the Earthall so a money-hungry CEO can line his pockets.

Now, new lease sales threaten to bring trucks and construction machinery into our wild places to build fracking rigs. Your message to the Department of Interior before the comment deadline closes is critical for protecting public lands! Friend, will you help us meet our MIDNIGHT GOAL of 5,281 signatures and tell the DOI to cancel the sale of public lands in Texas before it’s too late?

Fracking is good for no one but the companies making money from it. The process destabilizes the ground, sometimes triggering earthquakes. Its wastewater can seep into the ground and waterways, sometimes containing radioactive material! People exposed to its pollution can suffer from coughing fits, nausea, and even blistering headaches.

The Department of Interior should conserve our precious public lands, not sell them to the highest corporate bidder. It should prioritize people’s health, not boost industry bottom lines. Don’t you agree? Please, Friend, send your message to the Department of Interior and protect public lands from fracking!
