The Make a Difference Challenge: 100 gifts by Giving Tuesday!

Dear John,

Once a year, our nation celebrates a day of coming together to support
the causes that matter to us. Giving Tuesday is a week from today, and
we have a challenge for our Children's Defense Fund (CDF)
community: to reach 100 gifts of any size by midnight on November 28.

Why should you give?

First, to show your community spirit. It takes all of us working
together to make sure every young person has what they need to thrive.
The Make a Difference Challenge is a moment to say, "We stand
united."

Second, because your gift, large or small, will make a difference to children and youth through our core priorities:

Just and Caring Communities where our children and youth can play and
learn in safety.

Family Stability and Economic Mobility to give every young person a
stable beginning and the tools to fulfill the dream of doing better
than their parents.

Children's Health and Healing that nourishes growing bodies,
minds, and spirits.

Education for Civic Life and Work that equips our young people for
success in the global workforce and meaningful, informed engagement in
the life of our country.

Early Learning and Development so that every baby and toddler gets a
healthy start and high-quality, early learning opportunities so they
are ready for kindergarten.
