*                      144th Trooper Recruit School Graduation*
"                             Recruits to Join State Police Ranks"

*Who:*                Michigan State Police (MSP)

*When: *             Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023
                         1 p.m.

*Where:*             Kellogg Center
                         219 S. Harrison Road
                         East Lansing, MI 48824

*What:*              The MSP is inviting the media to attend the graduation ceremony for the
                        144th Trooper Recruit School. Members of the media should be prepared
                         to provide valid press credentials.

                         During the ceremony, the 61 recruits will be sworn in as MSP
                         troopers by Col. James F. Grady II, director of the MSP. The keynote
                         speaker is Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

                         Upon graduation, the new troopers will report to their assigned MSP posts
                         across the state. See attached pdf for assignment list.

                         Recruits and their family members will be available for interviews
                         immediately following the ceremony (approximately 1:45 p.m.).
