Two Good News Stories You May Have Missed This Week |
by Ben Johnson |
Recent elections have brought discouraging news for the pro-life, pro-family Christians. Ad campaigns, as well-financed as they were deceptive, led to a small run of destructive decisions on life and recreational marijuana use over the last few weeks. Red waves turned into puddles. And hostile politicos burrowed deep into the federal bureaucracy have come out of hiding to weaponize the federal government against the voters. But the media have magnified this relatively short string of setbacks into a narrative of secular progressivism's inevitable triumph, while muting stories that would encourage the pro-life movement. |

MLB Eats (Jim) Crow in All-Star Return to Atlanta |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
In many ways, it was a decision that launched a thousand boycotts. If people wanted to trace the surge of consumer activism back to its root, Georgia was probably the straw that broke the woke camel's back. When Major League Baseball decided to move the All-Star Game out of Atlanta over a 2021 law to safeguard elections, fans decided they'd had enough. Everyday Americans, who were already well past their boiling point on cancel culture, hit back. Now, in a delicious turn of events, Commissioner Rob Manfred has come crawling back to the city he shunned. |

As Homeownership Costs Soar and Inflation Persists, Americans Sour on Biden's Economy |
by Dan Hart |
President Joe Biden turned 81 years old on Monday, and he was greeted with the lowest approval rating ever recorded by NBC News at 40%. While a large part of the number is due to Democrats' disapproval of Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict, it's also likely a reflection of an economy that continues to struggle under the weight of persistent inflation, skyrocketing mortgage rates, a decline in full-time jobs, and ever-expanding federal debt. |

We Need to Talk about Joe: Dems Show Growing Concern over Aged, Inept Biden |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Joe Biden was heralded in 2020 as a reasonable moderate Democrat, a shrewd D.C. veteran, and a return to "normalcy" after the "madness" of the Trump presidency. Three years later, with a presidential election looming and the potential return of Donald Trump on the horizon, Democrats and their media mouthpieces are suffering from buyers' remorse and, perhaps even more shockingly, no longer trying to hide it. |

Thousands Sign Petition to Boycott Macy's Thanksgiving Parade over Trans Agenda |
by Sarah Holliday |
'Tis the season to boycott. At least that's what 36,000 petitioners have signed up to do with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Dating back to 1924, the parade has been a beloved kickoff to the holidays. As New York City streets are filled with floats, costumes, dancing, music, and all kinds of talent, the event has traditionally been designed for family fun. But One Million Moms (OMM), an organization of Christians, have launched a campaign against the parade for its "liberal nonsense." |

This Thanksgiving, Remembering Families Fractured by Transgenderism |
by Brandon Showalter |
The holiday season is always hard for families that have endured the recent loss of a family member. But the parents of trans-identified young people have been enduring a prolonged, unrelenting loss, many times because their children have cut family ties as part of their new "gender identity." Some children have vanished entirely from their parents' lives. Some parents I know have labeled this experience an excruciating "living death." For most people, Thanksgiving is infused with goodwill and gratitude, but for these moms and dads, it's a heartache punctuated with piercing anguish. |
