It's not long until The United Nations Climate Change conference (COP28) begins. From November 30 to December 12, world leaders will gather in Dubai to work together on solutions to tackle the climate crisis. Across rural Africa, farming families feel the impact of the climate crisis, first and worst. It's not only threatening their lives, but their ability to feed themselves now and in the future. In the lead up to the event, our teams in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda will be collaborating with farming families and their communities by holding tree planting events and championing climate-smart farming techniques amongst other activities This COP28, we be appealing to global leaders to do more to reduce emissions and raising awareness of the impact the climate crisis is having on the farming families we work alongside. |
