Only One More Month to Register for Effective Client and Family Engagement Training

We're a little more than a month away from our Effective Client and Family Engagement training taught by Plymouth State University's Scott Meyer. Please join us as Dr. Meyer shares his expert techniques and strategies for responding to a range of challenging mental health and substance abuse related behaviors in clients and family contacts.

During this full-day event, participants will:

Learn and understand different types of factors causing resistive behaviors in clients.

Be offered strategies to overcome the barriers frequently encountered trying to engage resistive clients.

Better understand the role of mental health and substance use disorders in relationship to resistive behaviors.

Learn strategies to promote client motivation for change.

Be provided with techniques for reflective practice regarding how such resistive clients make us feel and respond.

We highly encourage professionals working in social work, healthcare, education, and addiction services to attend. Registration is required and can be done by clicking on the button below.
