We have once again narrowly avoided a government shutdown – but it’s just another short-term solution for a larger problem. Now, we have funding until mid-January, but that is simply not enough. Americans cannot keep living month by month with important benefits and services in limbo. We all deserve the certainty and security that only reliable government funding can provide.

That’s why, one year out from Election Day 2024, we must work hard to ensure that Democrats take back the House.

Even with a new Speaker, the House Republican majority can’t govern. It’s time we put politics to the side and keep our government funded for a whole fiscal year – not just 3 months at a time.

So my one personal request to you, friend, is that you chip in anything you can to ensure we take back the House exactly one year from now.
