I’m not writing to you as an actor, but as a third-generation Californian and an activist who is deeply concerned about the condition of our democracy and our rights.

I’ve dedicated my adult years to politics, from local campaigns to standing against hateful bigots in national leadership. Having experienced deep injustice and prejudice from a young age, I’ve always stood up to bullies and admired others who do the same. Adam Schiff has never backed down from a fight, not against Trump, not against MAGA world, not against anyone trying to tear down our democracy.

I firmly believe that the upcoming election is the most crucial one yet – and that’s why I’m supporting Adam Schiff.

My father, reflecting on our family’s release from internment during World War II, instilled in us the vital role we all have in protecting our democracy. He saw what happens to people when elected officials are emboldened to act on their bigoted, xenophobic, and racist beliefs.

Adam embodies the principles of democracy and inclusion, and he’s exactly the antidote we need to the toxic authoritarianism that the MAGA Republican Party has embraced. I proudly stand with Adam and Democrats brave enough to confront racist, xenophobic, and misogynist bullies. And that’s why I’m asking you to join me.

Adam has stood up to Trump and his MAGA minions again and again. Despite the constant flood of far-right attacks, Adam has remained steadfast in his battle to protect our democracy and ensure our government works for all.

This is why I’m supporting Adam, and you should too.
