Today, while the U.N. marks World Children’s Day, 34 Israeli children remain hidden away in Gaza — kidnapped from their families and held hostage by Hamas.
Notably, the U.N. failed to condemn Hamas or demand the release of the children while it asserted "For every child, every right."
For 45 days, Israeli mothers and fathers have been praying for their children's safe return. We join with them in demanding all 239 hostages be returned immediately.
As Israel continues its operation, it remains steadfast in achieving three objectives:
The return of all hostages.
Destroying Hamas' ability to carry out another massacre against Israelis — something the terror group has pledged to do.
Ensure Hamas is no longer in control of Gaza.
Israel has been clear: Its war is not with the Palestinian people, but with Hamas.
IDF EVACUATES BABIES FROM SHIFA HOSPITAL: Today at Shifa Hospital, the IDF evacuated newborn babies using incubators provided by Israel, and helped transfer them to Egypt for medical treatment. This remarkable operation, in the middle of a war zone, demonstrates how Israel does more to protect innocent lives in Gaza than Hamas has ever done.
BIDEN ADMINISTRATION ISSUES STRONG PRO-ISRAEL DEFENSE: Members of Congress and the Biden administration continue to speak out forcefully in support of Israel. Today, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby gave a clear and powerful response to those claiming Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza:
“Israel isn’t trying to wipe the Palestinian people off the map. Israel isn’t trying to wipe Gaza off the map. Israel is trying to defend itself against a genocidal terrorist threat. The dining hall in Kibbutz Be'eri reopened today after more than 100 of its residents were murdered during the October 7 terrorist attack.
Kibbutz members are working to maintain agricultural fields and a civil defense unit.
