** DEAR FRIENDS,
------------------------------------------------------------

November has been a successful month for SHARK and the animals!

On November 9th, Ezequiel Herrera was charged with two counts of animal cruelty, for his part in violently prodding steers in the head, face, and genitals. Ezequiel Herrera was the second man in Will County to be charged.

Christofer Dorado was also charged with two counts of animal cruelty for violently and repeatedly slapping and beating horses.

November also brought the OKLAHOMA GOVERNOR recording a pro-cockfighting speech and apologizing for not attending the Oklahoma Gamefowl Commission ([link removed]) rally, but says he will “cheer them on from the sidelines” and that he looks forward to working to advance their legislative priorities in the state legislature in 2024.

The Governor's move brought much criticism, including from the former Governor and former Attorney General, stating that his video was an “embarrassment” and “(the governor is) associating himself with lawlessness, and that’s not proper for any statewide elected official.” ([link removed])

YouTube has since REMOVED the video for violating community guidelines by promoting cruelty to animals. You can read an article about this HERE. ([link removed])
