Warren for Senate: [link removed]
In a moment, [ [link removed] ]I’m going to ask if you can make a split
donation to support Jon Tester in Montana and Sherrod Brown in Ohio. But
first, I want to take a moment to talk about why it’s so important to
support these two races right now.
Democrats expanded our Senate majority during the 2022 midterms — that’s
due to grassroots supporters chipping in, volunteering, and jumping into
the fight. But it’s still just about as slim as can be.
Mitch McConnell and the GOP are strategizing right now on how to win back
control in 2024, and they’ve drawn big red circles around two critical
states: Montana and Ohio.
Jon Tester and Sherrod Brown are two of the most vulnerable Democratic
senators up for re-election next year. They’re the only Democratic
incumbents running in states that Trump won in 2020.
So if we want to not only keep but expand our Senate majority even more to
make the big, structural change that our country needs, we need to invest
in these two critical races as early as we can.

$28 or
anything you can to support Jon Tester in Montana, Sherrod Brown in Ohio,
and our re-election campaign?

We need to invest now to keep our majority because if the GOP takes over,
they’ll derail the progress we’re making. Not only that, but they’ll
actively work to take us backwards.
Mitch McConnell has said that a nationwide abortion ban would be on the
table if Republicans ran Washington again. Social Security and Medicare
could be on the chopping block. And confirmations of President Biden’s
judicial nominees would come to a screeching halt. All together, a GOP
Senate would work to rip away more and more of our freedoms and threaten
more and more of our democracy.
Jon Tester and Sherrod Brown fight from the heart for working people
across the country because they understand the challenges families face.
Jon Tester’s always reminded me of my big brothers (not just because of
the flat top haircut). He’s tough as nails, he’s got a heart bigger than
the state of Montana, and he centers every decision on the needs of
working people — because he understands those needs down to his bones.
He’s the only working farmer in the Senate, and he and his wife, Sharla,
work on the same land that his grandparents tended more than 100 years
ago. He is the best person to represent Montanans and working families in
Congress. And he gets things done. He led the effort to pass the PACT Act,
providing care and benefits to service members exposed to toxins. Now he’s
working to make sure the law delivers results.
Sherrod Brown grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, in a community of ironworkers,
carpenters, autoworkers, and electricians, spending summers working on his
family's farm. He’s seen manufacturing jobs shipped overseas because of
trade deals benefiting giant corporations. And he’s dedicated his life to
fighting for the dignity of work. It’s a pretty basic idea: hard work
should pay off for everyone. Whether you punch a time clock or swipe a
badge, earn a salary or make tips, are raising children or caring for an
aging parent, Sherrod fights for you. As Chair of the Banking Committee,
he takes on the big banks and fights to make our economy work for
everyone, not just Wall Street CEOs.
[ [link removed] ]Jon Tester and Sherrod Brown will keep making us proud if we keep their
voices in Washington. But Republicans are going all out to defeat them.
Can you help fight back by splitting a donation of
$28 or any
amount between Jon Tester, Sherrod Brown, and our re-election campaign?
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
