Governor Asa Hutchinson Announces Appointments

LITTLE ROCK – Governor Asa Hutchinson today announced the following appointments.

Clay Waliski, Carlisle, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Mary Ringgold.

Stephanie Nickols, Mount Ida, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Robbie Thomas-Knight.

Dr. Dwayne Daniels, El Dorado, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2020. Replaces Lawrence Braden.

Dr. Melissa Faulkenberry, Little Rock, to the State Board of Health. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Dr. Greg Ungerank.

Dr. Anthony Turchi, Fayetteville, to the Veterinary Medical Examining Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2024. Reappointment. 

John Dyess, Yellville, as a Special County Judge in the County Court of Marion County, Arkansas. Marion County Court Case No. 2019-001. Replaces Marion County Judge John Massey, who has disqualified himself from the case. 

Sydney Westbrook, Texarkana, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Linda Tabor.

Kaylin Mason, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Jamie Darling.

Dr. Rachel Miller, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Barbara Moody.

Leatrice Russ-Glenns, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2020. Replaces Wanda Roe.

Jim Metzger, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2019. Replaces Marlane Stakemiller.

Kim Coryat, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires December 31, 2021. Replaces Judy Tenebaum.

Diana Reggans, Malvern, to the Board of Trustees of College of the Ouachitas. Appointment expires July 1, 2026. Reappointment.

Paul Mlakar, Alma, to the Arkansas Veterans’ Commission. Appointment expires October 15, 2021. Replaces Troy Galloway.

Pamela Boyd Shields, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Veterans’ Commission. Appointment expires October 15, 2021. Replaces Margaret Wolf.

Wendy Blackwood, Conway, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Appointment expires December 1, 2020. Replaces Lenora Erickson.

Dr. Suzanne Casey, Searcy, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Appointment expires December 31, 2021.  Reappointment.

Derek Mack, Jacksonville, to the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission. Appointment expires December 31, 2020. Replaces Stephen Donnelly.
