Thanksgiving is in just a few days. Christmas decorations are up in the mall. Depending on where you are in the country, there’s a new chill in the air. Ready or not, the holiday season is here.

This may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s also the most difficult time for fundraising, which has us a little worried.

We get it. You’d much rather spend your hard-earned money traveling to be with family or getting your kids an additional Christmas or Hanukkah gift. And we’re right there with you.

But we’ll be direct, friend — more and more this year, business in the U.S. House has been dictated by extremists who are endangering our liberties, threatening Social Security and Medicare, and pushing some really bad ideas just because of politics. That’s a lot of grinches, ready to ruin a lot of holiday seasons yet to come.

So, if you’re able to do it, will you pitch in to help us avoid a holiday slump and keep the Blue Dogs going strong so we can replace the grinches in Congress and fill their seats with other people who just get it?
