Year after year, millions of people cast their votes on everything from ballot initiatives to state legislative races to presidential elections. This wouldn’t be possible without the truly amazing poll workers who commit to making our elections run smoothly. 

These workers buckle down for long shifts and complete extensive training to help our democracy thrive, even as extremists attempt to undermine their critical work. 

So as we think about what we’re thankful for, we want to express our whole-hearted appreciation for election workers.

As we get ready for Thanksgiving, many poll workers are working through the holiday in Georgia to prepare for the upcoming runoff elections. We value them and their contributions, and we’ll keep working to make sure they have the resources they need to run accessible elections.
