John,
On October 16th, Rep. Cori Bush introduced a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Israel and Gaza, humanitarian aid, and the safe return of hostages, to save as many lives as possible.
Two weeks later, a primary challenger announced he would try and defeat her.1
Since then, reports have emerged that AIPAC is set to spend over $100 MILLION to take out progressive members of Congress — and that Cori will be one of the first in their sights.2
We’re proud to stand with Cori Bush everyday, and to officially endorse her today for re-election in 2024. With an announced primary challenger, now is a critical moment in this campaign — and it’s up to all of us to show Cori we have her back.
Can you contribute $10 or any amount to make sure Cori has the resources she needs to get out the vote and beat back a right-wing-funded primary challenge? Every contribution from this email will go directly to Cori’s campaign at this critical moment.

In her first term, Cori Bush has championed legislation that puts the working families of St. Louis and the entire country front and center.
A relentless advocate for racial, social, health care, and environmental justice, Cori has led the movement to guarantee housing for all — leading a national movement on the steps of the U.S. House of Representatives calling on the CDC to extend the eviction moratorium, as well as introducing legislation to permanently implement an eviction moratorium throughout the pandemic.
And along with other WFP champions in Congress, Cori was one of the first leaders to courageously stand up and call for a ceasefire in Israel and Palestine in order to save lives.
Losing Cori’s voice to a Republican-funded primary challenge would be a loss for everyone who cares about democracy and justice.
Her voice, along with the voices of other WFP champions in Congress, represent the views of communities that are too-rarely heard in the halls of power in D.C.
That’s exactly why the Republican megadonors who fund AIPAC are so laser focused on spending millions in Democratic primaries next year to try and take them out. They want to silence these voices — and cause enough distraction and dissension to give MAGA Republicans full control of Congress and put Trump back in the White House.
Here’s the honest truth: We will never match GOP megadonors in races like this dollar for dollar. But the good news is, we don’t need to.
All we need to do to win is to make sure candidates like Cori have the resources they need to get their message out and defend themselves against these vicious right-wing attacks. And the earlier we can show that kind of grassroots support, the better.
If you’re in, make a contribution of any amount directly to Cori’s campaign now.
