A few weeks back my team told you about our work successfully securing funding for the creation of the first-ever American Climate Corps, which will put tens of thousands of young people to work on clean energy and climate resiliency projects across the country.
Make no mistake — this accomplishment would not be possible without the work of our Green New Deal movement and the supporters like you who push that movement forward.
We set the agenda, we fought for this important idea, and we won.
But the truth is, we still have so much work to do to build on this progress and fully confront the climate emergency unfolding before us.
I’m still in this fight. I’m still pushing for urgent climate action in Congress, including new Green New Deal legislation that deals with both public health and public schools. And our campaign is working to support climate advocacy efforts across the country.
So if you’re still in this fight too, I need your help.
With the end of the year getting closer and closer, we need to make sure our movement has the resources it needs to make 2024 another big year for climate action.
We don’t take money from Big Oil or corporate lobbyists who stand in the way of progress. We rely on grassroots donations from regular folks who believe in our mission and want to make a difference.
