She made sure that Chanel got her name legally changed, and VoteRiders covered all the fees and transportation costs for her (numerous!) appointments.
She told us that now that her name matches her ID, it feels like a weight has been lifted. “I’ll be more comfortable,” she said. “Once your pronouns are on your ID, there’s nothing to worry about.”
