UPDATE: ELISE’S ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST JUDGE ARTHUR ENGORON — New York
Appellate Court Lifts Unconstitutional “Gag Order” on President Trump


Last week, Elise formally submitted a judicial complaint against Judge Arthur
Engoron for displaying inappropriate bias and unprofessional behavior in the
shameful lawsuit filed by New York against President Donald J. Trump and the
Trump Organization.On Thursday, a New York Appellate Court Judge lifted the
unconstitutional gag order that Judge Engoron placed on President Trump. Elise
released the following statement on the breaking news –


“I am pleased to see that after my ethics complaint to the New York Commission
on Judicial Conduct against Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron, an appellate court
has lifted the unconstitutional gag order against President Trump. We must
fight to protect all defendants’ First Amendment and due-process rights. This
is so much bigger than President Trump. If Democrats can do this to a
billionaire, former President, and leading presidential candidate, just imagine
what they can do to the rest of us. That’s why I filed my ethics complaint
against Judge Engoron, and I will continue to fight for all New Yorkers.”

Elise and Her E-PAC Endorse Alison Esposito in NRCC Top Targeted Seat – New
York’s 18th Congressional District


On Monday, Chairwoman Elise Stefanik released the first E-PAC endorsement of
the 2024 election cycle. Elise and E-PAC proudly endorse Alison Esposito, who
is running for Congress in New York’s 18th Congressional District, a top target
seat for the NRCC. Alison is a former NYPD Officer and was the 2022 Lieutenant
Governor Candidate for New York.

“Before Esposito’s entry into the congressional race, a survey conducted by
the Congressional Leadership Fund — the super PAC backing the House GOP
majority — found that a Republican candidate would tie with Ryan 43% to 43%,
with the remaining 13% undecided. Forty-two percent of registered voters said
it’s time to elect someone new, while 36% supported Ryan’s re-election, with
the remainder on the fence, according to the survey. “New polling data
demonstrates that the GOP-favorable political environment and vulnerabilities
in Pat Ryan’s standing with voters shows a clear path to victory for 2024,” CLC
Vice President Brock McCleary and research coordinator Jack Coogan said in an
Aug. 7 memo on the poll’s findings.”


Elise and Her E-PAC Endorse Kari Lake for U.S. Senate


On Wednesday, House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik endorsed
conservative fighter Kari Lake for the U.S. Senate in Arizona. This marks the
first E-PAC endorsement of the 2024 election cycle for a U.S. Senate candidate.
Fox News exclusively reported on the House GOP Conference Chair's endorsement,
the success of E-PAC since its founding, and the recent polling in Arizona that
shows a clear path to victory for Kari Lake.

“Through Elevate PAC, or ‘E-PAC,’ Stefanik is leading a national effort to
elect more conservative women to Congress, an effort that has led to millions
of dollars being raised and donated to women candidates since the group's
founding in 2018. During the 2020 election cycle, the first cycle E-PAC was in
operation, 228 Republican women ran for the House of Representatives, of which
a record 94 won their primaries. That year, 11 of the 15 districts flipped by
the GOP were won by E-PAC endorsed women. With those wins, the number of
Republican women in Congress doubled to the highest ever in U.S. history, a
feat it later added to during the 2022 midterms when it recruited a record
number of Republican Hispanic women to run.”


Elise Submits Formal Criminal Referral to DOJ Against Michael Cohen


On Tuesday, Chairwoman Elise Stefanik and Chairman Mike Turner sent a formal
criminal referral of President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael
Cohen to Attorney General Merrick Garland. The referral highlights the
possibility that Cohen, who was previously convicted of providing false
statements to Congress, may have committed perjury during his 2019
Congressional testimony.


During Cohen’s testimony in New York Attorney General Letitia James's civil
case against Trump – Cohen acknowledged that he had made false statements under
oath during his testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on
Intelligence in February of 2019. Elise stated –


“The Biden Justice Department must take off its partisan blinders and
investigate disgraced fraudster and disbarred attorney Michael Cohen, a felon
previously convicted for lying to Congress, who just admitted to lying again to
Congress.”

HUMAN EVENTS: Elise Pens Op-Ed – Sorry Democrats, House Republicans are
changing how Washington works


This week, Human Events released an op-ed written by Elise discussing how
House Republicans are leading the charge to change Washington, D.C., with the
new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. House Republicans banned together
immediately to deliver on the priorities outlined in their Commitment to
America – an economy that's strong, a nation that's safe, a future that's built
on freedom, and a government that's accountable. Read an excerpt of the op-ed

“House Republicans know that the American people are hurting. Families are
struggling under the pain of inflation caused by reckless Far Left spending,
unable to afford groceries and everyday essentials. Our Northern and Southern

Washington DC to show a unified front of support for Israel. Elise expressed
