John,
In 1938, my grandparents left South Dakota, seeking a brighter future. They planted roots just a stone's throw away from what is now the Tacoma Mall.
There, my grandparents became local business owners, farmers, and dedicated members of their community. They, along with my dad, taught me the value of hard work and the importance of putting other people first.
Today, I've stepped up to run for Congress because of those values and because the same opportunities that brought my family to Washington and helped them build a better life are slipping away for too many. Will you join me in my fight to make the American Dream attainable again by contributing $25 today?

As our state's lands and wildfire chief for seven years, I’ve talked to voters across this district and our state. Between rising costs of food and housing, too many people are being left behind.
I’m running to bring the same sense of urgency and bold, transformative action that I’ve taken to address issues as our public lands chief in Washington to create solutions for us all in Congress. But to get there, I need your help.
So, John, as I take on this fight to make the American Dream accessible for all, will you join as a Founding Donor of my campaign for Washington's 6th Congressional District by contributing $25 today?

We're in this together,
- Hilary
