There are a lot of worthy organizations out there. A lot of teams are working hard. So why, you might ask, should you help VoteVets?

If you’ve got a minute, let us take a stab:

A few years back, Rachel Maddow said that VoteVets is an organization that regularly punches above its weight. That says a lot. We’re a small group — just a handful of us run this show. We don’t raise anywhere near as much money as the big committees. But year in, year out, we support strong candidates in competitive races and win.

We run targeted ads. We advocate for important issues. We get press attention. And we flip seats.

Look no further than Virginia earlier this month. VoteVets-backed candidates made the difference and won a Democratic majority in the House of Delegates and Senate. On the national level, VoteVets held our losses to a minimum in the House, and we expanded control in the Senate in 2022. We beat Trump like a drum back in 2020.

That’s the VoteVets difference.

We’re ready to do it again because we’re in this fight for the long haul. But we’ve got to build up our warchest again, because we’ve been covering a lot of ground and spending hard to get results over the last few months.
