Dear John,

With coronavirus spreading, can our NHS survive without them?

Under proposed rules, two-thirds of the EU migrants currently contributing to our healthcare system would not have been allowed into the country.

I want to know that the Government has fully costed and fully understood the ramifications of this policy.

Sign our petition, and ask your MP if they’re comfortable risking our NHS and our lives.

The NHS relies on the hard-work and compassion of immigrants. But with these new restrictions, essential work like caring, driving and cleaning would be discounted and disqualified.

We rely on talent from the Continent in every walk of life and in every part of the UK. EU migrants are our valued colleagues, friends and families.

Together, we can ensure immigration policy contributes to our vital public services and creates a welcoming environment for migrants.

I believe, as a matter of urgency, we must alert decision-makers of our concerns. The facts are on our side, and if we use our voice as one, we will have an impact.

We all want what’s best for our families, and what’s best for our country. Our representatives will listen. I know if enough of us get behind this campaign, we can make a difference.

So, join me in standing up for immigrants and standing up for the NHS. It’s not too late.

Best wishes,

Naomi Smith
