I began my time in the Senate as a young intern in 1991, working for Delaware's Democratic senator at the time: Joe Biden. Since then, I've grown under his leadership and mentorship. Today, I'm proud to call him my friend and honored to serve in the very Senate seat he held for 36 years.

I know I'm not the only Delawarean who watched with great pride as Joe Biden became vice president and then president. I've seen up close the way he fights every day for American families. I've been honored to work alongside his administration to put this country on the right track, but there's still so much to do to continue making progress for the American people.

Climate change, health care, education, reproductive rights — Joe is running for re-election next year to continue tackling the issues that matter most. In the face of attacks from his extremist opponents, we must stand with him.
