UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is currently addressing multiple crises across the globe where conflict, economic collapse, and climate change have forced millions of people into unthinkable circumstances. From Syria and the Democratic Republic of Congo to Myanmar and Venezuela, migrants, asylum seekers, and displaced people are in need of international protection and humanitarian assistance.

This December, we have a chance to advocate for change as government, private sector, NGO and refugee leaders gather at the Global Refugee Forum in Switzerland to find solutions to address the many pressing needs and challenges facing refugees around the world. Now is the time for all of society to show solidarity and urge leaders to ensure non-discriminatory asylum for those fleeing conflict, violence or persecution.
