In just less than a year, voters across the country will head to the polls to cast their ballots in the 2024 election. And in Florida, voters will determine whether Rick Scott wins six more years to push his far-right agenda or Democrat Debbie Mucarsel-Powell saves our Senate majority and wins a better future for this critical swing state.

We have just under a year until Election Day, friend. But truthfully, today, I'm not thinking about that — I'm thinking about the day after Election Day.

I'm thinking about whether we're going to wake up the day after Election Day full of pride and hope for our country — or if we're going to wake up with a sinking pit in our stomach, full of regret that we didn't do more. That we didn't tell more of our friends to vote. That we didn't chip in more to make sure that Debbie had enough resources to fight back against Rick Scott's massive fortune.

Because, friend, last time Rick Scott ran for Senate, Democrats like me woke up the morning after Election Day full of regret. He won that race by just 10,033 votes — that's only 0.12%. And he outspent our candidate by $50 MILLION. 

Five years ago, we let Rick Scott buy a Senate seat. There's no way I'm letting that happen again next year — especially with our Senate majority on the line in Florida.

The good news is that Debbie has almost everything she needs to win: She's an incredible, proven candidate with a unique ability to connect with voters all across her state. She understands the issues that Floridians care about because she's lived them. And polling data shows that she's already made this race a statistical tie.

The bad news is that she doesn't yet have the resources that she'll need to compete with Rick Scott's fortune. Building that kind of war chest starts right now: That's why I'm personally asking you to rush a donation before midnight tonight to help Debbie flip Florida blue and save our Senate majority. Please, we don't want to wake up next November with any regrets.
