John, this month's victories proved once again that when choice is on the ballot, choice wins.
On Nov. 7, we had a major election night, and abortion won from coast to coast: Twelve EMILYs List-endorsed local executives were elected or reelected, and Democrats not only held the Virginia Senate but also gained a majority in the House. Not to mention the success of a pro-choice ballot measure in the not-so-blue state of Ohio.
The momentum is on our side, John. It's a fact that the majority of Americans are pro-choice — and they vote accordingly. But now, Republicans see that too, and they're already trying to change their messaging to hide their extremist anti-choice views and deceive voters.
We're not letting Republicans get away with deceptive messaging around our fundamental rights, and we're certainly not going to let them steal our momentum. Will you donate now to help keep our pro-choice movement strong heading into 2024?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your contribution will go through immediately.
We have a critical year of elections ahead, with both the Senate majority at stake and the House majority within reach. Republicans are determined to pass a national abortion ban, and we need all hands on deck to MAINTAIN the momentum from our recent victories for the next 12 months. Republicans won't make it easy, but we can do it.
As EMILYs List gears up for 2024, let's show anti-choice Republicans that we're just getting started. Donate now to help elect more Democratic pro-choice women up and down the ballot, all across the country:
