150 countries

More than 150 countries have joined a global pledge to cut methane emissions by 30 percent, including some large gas-importing countries.

330 acres

Vietnam has continued with a substantial program of dredging and landfill work in the Spratly Islands, creating 330 acres of land since December 2022. By contrast, Vietnam had created just 120 acres of land in the Spratlys between 2012 and 2022.
