Here’s the truth, John:

We’re anticipating a big slowdown in fundraising during the Thanksgiving break — something we call the “Thanksgiving slump.”

I get it! Folks spend the week traveling, cooking, spending time with family, or watching football. However people chose to spend the holiday, one thing’s for sure: They’re not taking the time to read emails like this one. 

As you may know, we rely on the fundraising appeals in these emails to fuel every piece of work we do. So, when folks stop opening these emails, we have fewer resources to advocate for legislation or support our candidates.

And this slowdown couldn’t come at a worse time. We’re running up against our end-of-month deadline, and hitting our goal is critical to achieving all of the work we’re hoping to do in 2024 to take back the House. 

That’s why I’m asking each of you reading this email to step up and donate whatever you can to get us ahead before this slump starts. Can I count on you to pitch in any amount right now?
