FL-27 Newsletter
Vol. 118, Issue #41
Dear Friends/Amigos,

Last week was hectic here in Washington, D.C., but House Republicans delivered and passed our bill to keep the government funded until next year.

As always, feel free to share your opinion with us about your priorities for Congress by calling or writing to my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-3931 or visiting Salazar.House.Gov.

If you or any of your loved ones live in District 27 and are traveling this holiday season, make sure your passports are up to date! If your passport is about to expire, my office remains a resource to you. Feel free to call my Miami office at (305) 668-2285 with any questions.

Sincerely/Atentamente,

María Elvira Salazar
U.S. Representative (FL-27)
CONGRESS PASSED A CONTINUING RESOLUTION TO KEEP OUR GOVERNMENT RUNNING!
We did it. Last week House Republicans came together and delivered for the American people.

Millions of Americans rely on the critical programs our continuing resolution assures for the next year. In the meantime, I will be speaking to my colleagues ensuring District 27 priorities are met in any future legislation.

Call my office at (202) 225-3931 to let me know what's important to you!
SUPPORTING OUR ALLIES ABROAD AND MIAMI CONSUMERS WITH A NEW TRADE PROPOSAL!
Last week, I introduced the Innovation and Development in Ecuador (IDEA) Act to establish a preferential trade agreement with one of our most critical and important allies in South America.

Did you know that the United States imports more than $11 billion worth of goods from Ecuador every year? In a time of record-high inflation, a free trade agreement with Ecuador would help lower costs for Miami citizens by easing access to important consumer goods.
