LibsOfTikTok is a social media account on Instagram, Tiktok, and Twitter that has been linked to potentially inciting 66 separate threat events through their many hateful social media posts.

Let’s take a look at just one of these events: Earlier this year, the account made a hateful Tiktok video targeting a Highland Park elementary school for simply displaying a Pride flag. Yes, the same Highland Park community that is still reeling from a mass shooting at a July 4th parade.

Viewers of the account called in bomb threats to the elementary school, further retraumatizing the children, parents, and community. The school was forced to evacuate and send students home early, all because of a simple gesture of solidarity.

There are too many more similar incidents to mention because this account has a huge platform. That's why we are calling on social media platforms Meta, Google, and X to deplatform LibsForTikTok and disallow hateful vitriol online. Please add your name to our petition now.
