Trump brags about having "disease" named after him
During a pep rally in Iowa, the disgraced ex-president veered off script and bizarrely bragged about having a "disease" named after him, referring to the cleverly-named-but-definitely-not-a-real-ailment Trump Derangement Syndrome. Something tells us the serially indicted con man could have a flesh-eating bacteria named after him and he'd celebrate it. TDS may not be a thing, but narcissistic personality disorder definitely is.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Fed up Republican buries conservative host on his own show
Chris Christie gave Newsmax carnival barker Eric Bolling a Thanksgiving dinner-sized serving of truth about Donald Trump's legal fate on his own show, where Bolling usually traffics in a heavily distorted reality of his own making, where liberals are all dirty, godless, pedophile-enabling haters of freedom and the only thing standing in their way is a serially indicted con man whose entire life is a lawless, decades-long grift. What a world.

Democratic attorney generals defend our rights against anti-abortion extremists
Democratic Attorney Generals Association: When Roe v. Wade was overturned, Dem AGs jumped into action to block abortion ban, and when a Trump-appointed judge tried to pull the abortion pill off the shelves, it was Dem AGs who sued and won. There are 10 attorney general seats on the ballot in 2024; will you chip in to help elect Democratic AGs who will protect our right to choose?
US brokers tentative Israel-Hamas deal to pause conflict, free dozens of hostages, and allow aid into Gaza
In a US-brokered deal, Israel and Hamas have reached a tentative agreement to free dozens of women and children held hostage in Gaza in exchange for a five-day pause in fighting. As part of the agreement, all parties would freeze combat operations for at least five days while "an initial 50 or more hostages are released in smaller groups every 24 hours." Overhead surveillance will be used to monitor ground movement to help police the pause, which also is intended to allow in a significant amount of humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave where more than 12,000 Palestinians have died — including 5,000 children — since war broke out following the Hamas terror attack on October 7.

Biden advisers doubt Joe Manchin will actually run after toying with third-party presidential campaign
For the sake of democracy and, ya know, the fate of the frickin' planet, let's hope the Biden team is right and Manchin decides against helping Donald Trump slime his way back into the Oval Office.
Ohio priest who sex-trafficked boys he met in preschool given life sentence
56-year-old sexual predator and Catholic priest Michael Zacharias received concurrent, maximum life sentences following his convictions on five counts related to sex-trafficking charges in the molestation of three boys whom prosecutors say he met at an Ohio preschool and coerced to continue sexual activity as adults. Note: No children were injured by drag queens in the reporting of this story.

261 United Methodist churches defect in Georgia over LGBTQ stance
The United Methodist Church conference in north Georgia has allowed more than a third of its congregations to formally cut ties after years of disagreement over the governing body's ban on gay clergy and same-sex marriage. The churches defecting will no longer be allowed to use United Methodist in their name, but they will be allowed to practice their faith without arbitrary prejudice based on random interpretations of a text written a couple thousand years ago. What a novel idea.
A UN team enters Gaza's al-Shifa hospital and finds a "death zone"
A joint United Nations humanitarian assessment team, led by the WHO, gained the first outside access to al-Shifa hospital Saturday and saw first hand the dire circumstances of the facility, the groups said. Piles of medical and solid waste have filled the crowded corridors, and at least 80 bodies were found in a mass grave by the hospital's entrance. UN representatives described the formerly advanced and best equipped referral hospital in Gaza now as a "death zone."
