A PERSONAL NOTE

What a week this has been. We were able to consolidate all of our storage unit items from three units into one to save some money. We sold a few things we no longer want and my daughter spent a great deal of time organizing the contents.

She unearthed my winter clothes, which I didn't need last year, as I was in Athens. It was like I went on a huge shopping spree to get a suitcase full of clothes I hadn't seen in more than a year.  (Fortunately, I'm not a very trendy dresser so I'm quite content with older clothing.)

I got on the air for the first time in ages and interviewed Lynette Zang with many of your questions too! We had a fantastic talk and the video should be on The OP sometime this week.

We discussed so many things about the economy and personal finance. She answered a lot of questions and is not only brilliant, but a really fun person to talk to. Lynette is also a prepper, complete with home canned goods, a huge garden, and a bug-out location, so I think that makes her advice even more applicable for folks like us.

Update on my ankle (I know you were DYING to hear this) - I followed the doctor's orders to the letter and began walking a couple of weeks ago. I didn't do much lifting or anything strenuous during our move - I was there to drive the van and fold things - but unfortunately, I had a "setback" as per my doctor. I had to go in for an unexpected check-up when it began to balloon up and ache horribly.

I'm so bummed to share that I'm now off my feet again... for another three weeks while I try to reclaim the progress I had made.

Ruptured tendons are no joke and take FOREVER to heal. I'm sure you can imagine how frustrating this is.

Like any reasonable human who has been sofa-bound for months, I spent a day wallowing in my misery and then decided to get myself together and do what I can while waiting for it to heal.

I've set up my rowing machine where I'm only using my upper body to maintain cardio and strength. I'm doing some upper-body workouts, and I'm sitting and organizing things. I'm still working on learning languages, and I've got a stack of books to read.

I'm turning all my self-published books into Kindle as well as paperback (bonus for y'all) now that I have nothing but time! It would be easy to feel sorry for myself (and let me be clear, I do a little), but I'm not going to get sucked down into a vortex of "poor me" with this.

I also designed a new coloring book that will make an awesome Christmas gift for the patriotic adult in your life. (Or for you! I'm not judging - we all need a little treat now and then!)

It's going to be called The Freedom Isn't Free Coloring Book and is filled with sayings from OUR point of view.

This product is pro-gun, pro-liberty, and pro-America, and I think you'll love it!

<<<Here's a little sneak peek. Look for it during our Black Friday launch!
