We can't trust the Supreme Court to police itself. We need Congress to step in. |

John:

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court released their version of a code of conduct but there's no mechanism for ensuring they actually follow these rules. Congress needs to step up and enact legislation that creates real consequences for corruption in the Court.

While this falls well short of the strong reform we need, it’s the clearest sign yet that our action is working and they’re feeling the pressure. This is their attempt to solve the crisis of confidence, but the truth is a code that isn't enforceable won't be able to do that.

75% of voters support a binding ethics code for justices. We cannot trust the Court to police itself especially with the track record they have.

Sign if you agree: Pass a stronger, binding code of conduct.

Thank you,

Demand Justice is leading the fight to #ExpandTheCourt. Now is the time to add four seats to the Supreme Court and confirm justices who will safeguard our democracy and our rights.
