JOHN, Speaker Mike Johnson has a lot of people fooled. With his affable demeanor, people might be inclined to think that he’s some sort of moderate or centrist. Don’t be fooled — Mike Johnson is as radical as they come.

It was recently reported that Johnson sits on the board of a far-right Christian publishing house that said contracting monkeypox is “an inevitable and appropriate penalty” for being gay, and that President Obama could be the Antichrist. Speaker Johnson has repeatedly praised this hate-mongering organization, even telling the founder that he had a “profound influence…in my life and my walk with Christ.”
