Eleanor McCullen is one of the sweetest women you’ll ever meet.
Two days a week, five hours a day, you can find Eleanor standing on the cold, busy streets of Boston. She’s been standing on the sidewalk outside of a Planned Parenthood for years, speaking to the women and men walking inside.
“I’m Eleanor. How can I help you this morning?” she greets them cheerfully.
Many women have walked toward the entrance of the overbearing, dark glass Planned Parenthood building feeling lost. But Eleanor steps in and delivers a message of hope and mercy that has changed their lives and saved the lives of their unborn children.
But in 2008, Massachusetts created a fixed “buffer zone” around abortion centers in the state. And that law brought Eleanor all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. |
