Reichert aligned with Donald Trump’s position on 92.5% of the votes he cast in Congress
Anti-choice Republican Dave Reichert is hoping you won’t look too closely at his voting record in Congress. Because the moment you do, you’ll know he’s not the right person to be Washington state’s next governor.
We recently told you how Reichert’s record compares with the infamous Ted Cruz. Today, we’re continuing our series highlighting Reichert’s similarities with another extreme Republican: failed Speaker candidate Jim Jordan.
That’s right: according to an analysis by the political experts at ABC News’s FiveThirtyEight, Reichert aligned with Donald Trump’s position on 92.5% of the votes he cast in Congress — even more often than Jim Jordan, who founded the hard-right Freedom Caucus.
Jordan worked with Trump on strategies to overturn the 2020 election. Not even this tried-and-true Trump apologist voted with the former president more often than Dave Reichert did in Congress.
The team is digging further into Reichert’s voting record – we’ll share more as we have updates!
We cannot let Reichert bring his out-of-touch agenda to Washington state. Will you pitch in $5 or any amount right now to help Bob defeat him?
If Reichert becomes our next governor, he’ll bring his out-of-touch values to Washington — but Bob’s positions are clear. He’ll always fight to defend Washingtonians’ reproductive rights and stand up for working families.
But Bob needs your support to win this race.
After December 8th, our campaign can’t raise a dime until the spring due to the fundraising freeze for state elected officials. Because he is not an elected official, Reichert can continue to fundraise while Bob cannot.
That means we need your support today to stand up for our values and stop Reichert from reaching the governor’s office.
So if you want to stop Reichert from bringing Trump’s agenda to Washington state, pitch in $5 or anything you can now to elect Bob:
