TEXAS SPECIAL SESSION #4 BORDER SECURITY AGENDA ITEMS:
Enhance border security and safety by increasing funding for strategic border barriers.
Reduce illegal immigration by creating criminal offenses for illegal entry into Texas and authorize the removal of anyone who illegally enters our state, with penalties up to 20 years in prison.
Crack down on repeated attempts to enter Texas illegally, penalizing illegal re-entry with up to 20 years in prison.
Additional funding for the Department of Public Safety for border security operations.
President Joe Biden is refusing to uphold his duty to secure our southern border. Millions of people have crossed our border illegally – with more on the way! As President Biden allows this border crisis to continue, Texas will NOT back down from this fight to defend our border and protect ALL Americans from this increasing national security risk.
