Rep. Lauren Boebert's Office Leads In Purple Heart Ceremony Your Weekly Campaign Recap From Team Boebert! Friend, We hope you had another great week as we get ready for Thanksgiving! Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is continuing to work hard for the 3rd District before the end of the year, from attending local events to getting critical amendments included in House legislation. In Grand Junction, Congresswoman Boebert joined with the Mesa County GOP last Saturday to march in the Veterans Day Parade down Main Street where hundreds of veterans and attendees got to speak with and take photos with the Congresswoman. A SUPPORTIVE OPINION PIECE IN ASPEN: On Tuesday, the Aspen Times printed a wonderful opinion piece from Pastor Jim Tarr detailing his work with Congresswoman Lauren Boebert in support of Israel. From voting to send funding to Israel to condemning anti-Semitic rhetoric from radical legislators like Rashida Tlaib, Rep. Boebert has continued to stand with the Jewish community. You can read the entire opinion piece here. HONORING A 3RD DISTRICT HERO: On Saturday morning, Congresswoman Boebert participated in a Purple Heart ceremony for Army Sgt. First Class William Montgomery in Grand Junction. Sgt. First Class Montgomery displayed courage and bravery while defending our freedoms in Afghanistan and after 15 years of waiting, he was finally properly recognized for his service. Congresswoman Boebert's office was proud to lead the effort to push through William's application and make sure he received the honor he deserved. Watch the KKCO11 News story on the event below: DURANGO HERALD COVERS BOEBERT AMENDMENTS: As part of the recently passed Interior Appropriations Bill, Rep. Lauren Boebert successfully included 26 of her legislative initiatives. These include diverting millions from federal bureaucrats into forest management that will help prevent wildfires, as well as $1.5 million towards improving dirt school bus routes that will benefit the Southern Ute and Ute Mountain tribes in Southwest Colorado.
