Hi John,
The government killing machine known as Wildlife Services uses bone-crushing traps and M-44 cyanide bombs to slaughter wildlife.
Over the past five years in Texas, M-44s killed more than 700 "nontarget" animals, including bears and foxes. In 2018 more than 4,000 coyotes were killed by M-44s in Texas alone.
This slaughter must stop. Please give today to the Stop Wildlife Services Fund.
Millions of animals are killed by Wildlife Services each year. And M-44s — which lure wild creatures and even pets with a sweet scent, then spray a toxic poison into the face of whatever touches them — are one of the cruelest methods this rogue program uses to take out wildlife.
Even pets and endangered species are being killed by mistake, so-called "collateral" damage.
The government is waging a cruel war against our country's wildlife — and using taxpayer dollars to fund it. Program insiders have leaked that Wildlife Services kills many more animals than it reports.
We're ramping up our fight against M-44s, urging Wildlife Services to stop using these disgusting devices in Texas and across the country. We need your help.
The government must get out of the wildlife-slaughter business. There's no reason to shoot, poison and strangle millions of wild creatures.
We know how to win against Wildlife Services. In Wyoming we secured a ban on the program's use of deadly M-44 cyanide traps across more than 10 million acres of public land. In Oregon we helped secure a ban on its targeting of beavers, minks, muskrats and otters. In Northern California we secured a ban on traps and aerial gunning in designated wilderness areas in 16 counties.
Every win saves lives. Our latest victories have saved hundreds of beavers in California and thousands of coyotes in Wyoming. We're fighting county by county, state by state.
These are fights we can win, but we need your help.
Please give now to our Stop Wildlife Services Fund.
For the wild,
